In January 2023, Bimeda UK installed an electric vehicle charging point at their site in Anglesey. The new facility is available to employees who have or are looking to switch to electric vehicles to and reduce the environmental impact of their travel.
The Plant Manager for Bimeda’s Anglesey site, commented, ‘Not only do fully electric vehicles have zero tailpipe emissions, but even when electricity production is taken into account, petrol or diesel vehicles emit almost 3 times more carbon dioxide than the average electric vehicle.’
